Some of you might be wondering how to post messages that aren't comments.
Don't worry...I had to figure it out, too.

To post a regular blog message (such as this one) follow these steps.

1.) go to www.blogger.com
2.) log in with your username and password in the top right corner
3.) this should bring up a new page entitled "Dashboard" at the top. This is your personal headquarters.
4.) in the center of the screen, there should be a green plus sign, with the words "new post".
5.) click on this. the next page should be a text window.
6.) when ur done, click "publish post" (orange rectangle)
7.) if you want to include a picture, there's an icon at the top right next to spell check. click on it, and you'll have the option to choose one from your online collection, or even from your computer hard drive.

Remember: all members have the right to post messages and pictures.
Please keep in mind that only Mr. Powers and I have the right to delete any objectional posts. We also decide who becomes a member. We can accept and, in the worst case scenario, decline membership.

PLEASE! We want everyone to enjoy this site. So...

"Let's keep it clean!"

Remember also that some parents have been invited to join the blog, and they may share some pictures! (hopefully of when we perform.)

if you want to get a clue of what kind of homework your teacher is giving go to www.schoolnotes.com and idk if sam or powers wanted to put that on the links shown on the front page.

but i just thought that it might help some of the new freshman see what the homework will be like.

It's great that the blog is taking off and more and more people are posting every day.

We're still waiting for some students and parents, who were interested, to join.

Also... Alum are joining!
I'm really excited about that because I feel we shouldn't lose contact with them after graduation.

I still appreciate any feedback about this site and if you know someone who should join, let me know. I'll send them an e-mail.

Freshman!!!!!!!

Dont get me wronge i love all the seniors, juniors, and sophomores but u already no each other. I think its time to get to know the freshman . so im gonna write what i know about us freshman so far.


Im gonna start with John ( in italics) just because he will always be remebered as the one that convence us all that he could levatate done about a million card tricks and still hasnt been able to keeep quite when were at attention. But beside that he is a great person who every day has asked me how my day was and i am looking forward to getting to know him.

Next is Kittie who was the first freshman that i met at band camp. When she told me that i could call her Kittie like the band i was like oh great if i have to write her name on some thing im screwed . But kittie definitely is a great person and i was happy that i wouldnt be the only girl in band/guard . I really hope she is in my lunch period.


next there MK i havent really gotten to know her either but it seems that she is fitting in just fine with the guard and having a great time . I m very exicited to get to know her.


Next there Zack and i feel bad for him cause he has to learn his music and learn how to march. Zack plays the baratone and without him we would be nothing .. So i think we should be greatful for him.


This space is for hopefully our new trumpet player ...... Keep ur fingers crosed .....


Then there is me, Amanda Pesce even through i am a freshman because of my sister ive known all you people for 2 years. But im excited toget to know all of my fellow freshman.




I encourage all the new freshman to write about yourselfs and help everyone get to know you!!!!

I also encourage all of the other band people to ask our freshman any questions you have for them !!!!

I just want to say thanks to everyone for a great first week of camp.

Above all, I want to thank Nick, Adrienne, Amanda, and Caitlin for doing a great job in instructing us!

Is this "blog" just for band related things? or can i say just random things... like.... "the silver colored sheep was walking down the street, he walked into the price is right studio! He sat in the audience! They Said, Sheep master-o-funk!! COME ON DOWN!! YOUR THE NEXT CONTESTANT ON THE RICE IS RIGHT!!! *insert price is right music here* DUH DUH DUH DUH!!! DUH DUH DUH DUH DUD!! then bob barker said ok lets bidd.... then Sheep master-o-funk won! so he then ran on stage and Bob Barker said your going to win... A NEW CAR!! then the sheep played "the check game" and he wrote down the right price! But bob barker said, "NO SHEEP MASTER-O-FUNK!! THE PRICE IS WRONG!!!!!!!!" Bob barker then pressed his microphone then the WHOLE stuido BLEW up!!! then the sheep rose from the ashes and said, "well there goes my car... but i have good news" a passer sadi "what?" the Sheep master-o-funk said "I just saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!!" or does it have to be somthing related to band? Well if it does have to all do with band, I think our next song should be called sheep master-o-funk!!.................................... ok now that i have made my post im going to go back to my buddy list! You know what... i have 200 people on my buddylist! But no one super interesting to talk to!! So if you guys feel bored you should IM me at JohnMcC171 ( i will be billing 68 cents per minute.... juts kidding)

I just thought I'd reiterate the announcement Nick made about the pool party at Amanda's next Friday. Nick and Amanda are hosting a party for band/color guard to celebrate the end of band camp and beginning of our season! So, save the date on your calendar for Friday, September 2. We hope to see everyone there! I'm sure Amanda will be printing directions for everyone by next week.

I'm a senior, entering my third year in the RBC band.
