thanks, katie, for bringing up a good point. (and the link too. i'll add it.)

Some of you might be wondering how to post messages that aren't comments.
Don't worry...I had to figure it out, too.

To post a regular blog message (such as this one) follow these steps.

1.) go to www.blogger.com
2.) log in with your username and password in the top right corner
3.) this should bring up a new page entitled "Dashboard" at the top. This is your personal headquarters.
4.) in the center of the screen, there should be a green plus sign, with the words "new post".
5.) click on this. the next page should be a text window.
6.) when ur done, click "publish post" (orange rectangle)
7.) if you want to include a picture, there's an icon at the top right next to spell check. click on it, and you'll have the option to choose one from your online collection, or even from your computer hard drive.

Remember: all members have the right to post messages and pictures.
Please keep in mind that only Mr. Powers and I have the right to delete any objectional posts. We also decide who becomes a member. We can accept and, in the worst case scenario, decline membership.

PLEASE! We want everyone to enjoy this site. So...

Remember also that some parents have been invited to join the blog, and they may share some pictures! (hopefully of when we perform.)
