Help!

Haha. As some of you may know, I'm learning trombone for concert band, but with some research, I have found that trombone can be played in bass and treble clef (I already knew that part) and that there are different slide positions for every note in the different clefs.

How do I know what one I should learn? Haha. I'm so lost =/

i wanted to see if anyone would know on here today so i can grab a book, but i guess ill ask him when i just get in tomorrow and grab one before we leave.
